Ravens reinstated WR Devon Williams from reserve/did not report list.
The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec announced that Williams has re-joined the Ravens’ 90-man roster after placing him on the reserve/did not report list just days ago. A long shot to make the final 53-man roster, Williams’ best chance to stand out may be in Baltimore’s underwhelming receiver room.

Ravens placed WR Devon Williams on the reserve/did not report list.
The Ravens signed Williams as a UDFA this spring. Williams posted a 35/557/4 receiving line in his final season at Oregon before posting a subpar, 4.65 40. He supposedly looked good in the Ravens’ spring practices but was always a long shot to make their final roster.

ESPN’s Jamison Hensley writes that undrafted WR Devon Williams “stood out” this spring in Ravens practices.
Hensley has only four wideouts making the roster in his initial projection of the 53, and notes that “no one would be surprised” if the Ravens sign a veteran pass-catcher near the start of training camp. Williams is facing an uphill battle to make the roster, but is someone to keep an eye on in preseason.

Ravens signed Oregon WR Devon Williams.
A transfer from USC, Williams (6'5/210) led the Ducks in receiving during the COVID-shortened 2020 season before posting a 35-557-4 line last year. He has great size, but he struggled to a 4.65 40 at the Combine, a number he matched at his Pro Day, and did not look explosive on tape. His big frame and solid ball skills give him some developmental upside, but Williams will likely struggle to separate in the NFL.
