Redskins signed Alabama OL Dominick Jackson.
Jackson (6'5/313) spent two seasons at Alabama after transferring from JUCO, spending the first as a backup and the second as the Crimson Tide’s starting right tackle, earning second-team All-SEC honors from the conference’s coaches. On game tape, Jackson showed an anchor in the run game but struggled in pass protection due to slow feet. Not particularly athletic or long (33-inch arms), Jackson will have to move inside to guard in the pros. He’ll be a low-ceiling project there.
