Chiefs selected Clemson LB Dorian O’Daniel with the No. 100 overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft.
O’Daniel (6’1/223) made 27 starts at strong-side linebacker for the Tigers, tallying 28.5 career tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks and tying for first in Clemson history in special teams tackles (47). O’Daniel’s size and straight-line speed (4.61) limitations likely lower his long-term ceiling, but he is a tried-and-true “good football player” who will at worst produce in the kickoff- and punt-coverage games.
