These five batters are a combined 27 for 68 with two home runs against San Francisco’s starting pitcher. Gausman most recently faced San Diego in his last start on 9/16. In this start, he allowed four earned runs over 5.0 IP. When pitchers face the same team two starts in a row it provides an advantage for the batter. Gausman is allowing a .279 BA with eight home runs to opposing lefties. Also, over his last five starts, he has 4.34 ERA, not good. Gausman’s salary is ridiculously high at $10,100 on Draftkings. I don’t see it. Four-five man stack these San Diego Padres tonight for cash/GPP success.

With that said, this is a potential regression spot. Xander Bogaerts & Christian Vazquez are all valuable GPP players who carry significant upside. The Red Sox have won five in a row totaling 41 runs over this span. The Mets have lost five of their last six games and their bullpen is overworked.
