Round Analysis: Like the injured pitchers in the round prior, Stanton is likely going to be another polarizing player in drafts given his wide range of outcomes. The Grade 1 right calf strain is almost certainly going to force him to start the season on the sidelines, but if he only misses, say, two weeks and returns as a force he could easily outearn this draft slot. If the calf bothers him all year, possibly necessitating more injured list stays or hampering his productivity, guys like Joey Gallo, Jorge Soler and Ramón Laureano could breeze past him in terms of production. Personally, I like the risk at this point in the draft.
