Round Analysis: Trout’s several-year run as the unquestioned No. 1 overall pick may come to an end this spring in certain fantasy circles, though the reigning American League MVP will likely remain the top choice in a large number of casual and expert drafts. The differentiator on paper is stolen bases. Trout had only 11 steals in 2019, compared to 37 for Acuna and 30 for Yelich. All three outfielders are five-category fantasy freaks, and deciding between them has to involve some level of nitpicking. Trout is capable of bouncing back in the speed department in 2020, at age 28.
