July 27, 2008: Chris Wood, the amateur star at this year’s Open championship, is to turn professional next week. He will sign with the International Sports Management group and expects to make his debut as a professional on the European Tour next month. His first event is likely to be the SAS Scandinavian Masters in Stockholm
