SwingFix analysis: Shallowing out your downswing

Most great ball-strikers shallow out the shaft on the downswing and approach impact with the club traveling slightly from the inside.

Conversely, most average and higher-handicap players tend to get steep on the way down or even come over the top.



Charlie does a lot of things well in his swing but has been struggling with consistent, accurate ball-striking, and in this video SwingFix instructor Christian Czaja shows him that his problems are a result of a downswing that’s too steep and that a change in the path of his swing is needed.
