Sam Love has gained entry into next week’s U.S. Open.

Love was the second alternate from the Memphis sectional qualifier, but gets in due to Jason Millard’s withdrawal. Millard contends that he grounded his club in a bunker to warrant a self-disqualification. Love recently wrapped up his collegiate career at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He’s currently 151st in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. The U.S. Open will mark his PGA TOUR debut.
