Franz Wagner accounted for 18 points (7-of-13 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), eight rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one three-pointer in Sunday’s win over Türkiye.
Germany won its first EuroBasket title since 1993 on Sunday, and the players with the most NBA experience led the way. While Dennis Schröder was huge in crunch time, Wagner and Isaac Bonga (20/5/3/1/1 with four three-pointers) led the way scoring-wise and Tristan da Silva (13/4/1 with three three-pointers) stepped up with timely perimeter shooting. Wagner averaged nearly 21 points per game for the tournament, with Germany going 9-0 between the group stage and the team’s knockout stage run to the title. Having firmly established himself as a key cog for the Magic, Wagner should be a popular option in fantasy drafts this fall, especially in category leagues.
  • NBA Small Forward #17
Isaac Bonga has signed a two-year deal with Bayern Munich in Germany.
The 39th pick in the 2018 Draft, Bonga bounced around three teams in four seasons. Still only 22, Bonga apparently received some NBA interest before agreeing to this deal, but this move likely guaranteed him a larger role and more money. Maybe he’ll resurface down the road.

  • NBA Small Forward #17
Isaac Bonga will be in the G-League and won’t be available for Sunday’s season finale against the Knicks.
Bonga’s status won’t have an impact in fantasy hoops this season.

  • NBA Small Forward #17
Isaac Bonga (sprained right big toe) won’t play against the Rockets on Friday.
This won’t have an impact on fantasy hoops.

  • NBA Small Forward #17
Isaac Bonga (sprained right big toe) will not play in Tuesday’s game against Atlanta.
This will not impact anyone’s fantasy roster.

  • NBA Small Forward #17
Isaac Bonga (sprained right big toe) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Heat.
Bonga’s absence will not have an impact on any fantasy league.

  • NBA Small Forward #17
Isaac Bonga (conditioning) will be available for Tuesday’s game against the Spurs.
Bonga cleared health and safety protocols on Sunday, but he was held out of the win over the Knicks for conditioning reasons. He’ll be available Tuesday night but is unlikely to log the minutes needed to be relevant in any fantasy league.

  • NBA Small Forward #17
Isaac Bonga (conditioning) is questionable for Tuesday’s game vs. the Spurs.
With the Raptors getting most of their guys back from quarantine, Bonga’s playing status will be meaningless in fantasy hoops moving forward.

  • NBA Small Forward #17
Isaac Bonga (return to competition conditioning) won’t play against the Knicks on Sunday.
Bonga has cleared the league’s health and safety protocols, but won’t return to action this game. He hasn’t made a fantasy impact all season, and that won’t start when he returns. Leave him on the wire.

  • NBA Small Forward #17
Isaac Bonga (dental surgery) is available to play in Sunday’s game against the Wizards.
Bonga hasn’t been a factor when healthy, so his being available won’t change anything fantasy-wise. Leave him on your league’s waiver wire.
