Cowboys signed USC CB Isaac Taylor-Stuart.
Stuart (6'2"/200) finally earned the chance to be a consistent starter for the Trojans in 2021, finishing with 39 tackles, three deflections, and a pick. Don’t let Stuart’s 9.6 RAS score get you excited because while he has the physical traits you look for in an NFL cornerback — big, long, and athletic — watching him on the field, he doesn’t utilize them. Stuart gives away too much space in coverage, especially on inside routes. While he can physically press bigger, slower receivers, quicker route runners have no problem breaking away. If Taylor-Stuard can utilize his size, there’s promise.
