Three-star 2020 DB Jacobee Bryant announced Tuesday that he has decommitted from Kansas.
Bryant (6'1/175) verbally committed to Kansas in June, on the heels of his official visit to the campus. Just over a week before National Signing Day the three-star defensive back from Evergreen, Alabama has decided to reopen his recruitment. Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Ole Miss and Tennessee were among the schools that had expressed interest in Bryant before his verbally committed to Kansas.

Uncommitted three-star 2020 CB Jacobee Bryant will take an official visit to Kansas on June 21.
This is the first official visit which Bryant has set up. In addition to Kansas, Kentucky and Tennessee should be considered serious contenders for the 6-foot-1, 175-pounder’s pledge. A competitive cornerback whom Rivals analyst Chad Simmons tagged earlier this month as a recruit on the rise, Bryant slots into the 247Sports composite board as the No. 28 prospect in the state of Alabama for the 2020 cycle. Bryant hails from Evergreen, Alabama.

Rivals analyst Chad Simmons pegged uncommitted three-star 2020 CB Jacobee Bryant as a recruit whose stock is on the rise.
“Whether you watch tape or see him live, Bryant always shows aggression. He plays with an edge and loves the challenge each receiver in front of him presents,” Simmons writes of the 6-foot-1, 175-pounder out of Evergreen, Alabama. As for where Bryant might ultimately land, Kansas, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Virginia Tech are all programs to keep an eye on. Rivals ranks Bryant as the No. 33 prospect in the state of Alabama for the 2020 cycle.
