Bengals selected Miami OT Jalen Rivers with the No. 153 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Rivers (6’6/319) spent five years shuttling between left tackle and left guard for the Hurricanes, recording a PFF pass block grade of 73+ in each of his three seasons as a starter. He only allowed one sack in eight contests with a 98.5% pass block efficiency rate as Cam Ward’s blindside protector. While his testing revealed a somewhat underwhelming 6.61 RAS, there’s no teaching his raptor-like 34 7/8th” arms. Rivers has the requisite heft to stall out bull rushes and drop anchor when challenged with power. However, he isn’t particularly nimble with his footwork and lacks the fluidity to play on the outside at the NFL level. He has a profile similar to BC lineman Ben Petrula.

Miami now has 16 commitments from the class of 2020 and boast the No. 4 overall recruiting class in the country.

Rivers was “physically imposing” during his time at the 3 Stripe Camp and earned an invite to the Rivals Challenge. The four-star recruit hails from Orange Park, Florida and is currently ranked as the 13th offensive tackle in the class of 2020. Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Miami, and Auburn have all floated offers his way but he’s yet to narrow down his choices.
