Jets signed fifth-round OG Jarvis Harrison to a four-year contract.
Harrison has all the ability in the world, but needs to get his conditioning in order. If he does, he could become a plus starter at either guard spot.
  • FA Guard #60
Jets selected Texas A&M G Jarvis Harrison with the No. 152 overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft.
Harrison (6'4/330) made 37 starts for the Aggies, seeing action at both guard spots and left tackle. Harris’ build and arm length (33 1/2") will likely send him to guard in the pros. A former basketball player, Harrison showed plus athleticism for his size at the Combine, running 5.19 with a 29 1/2-inch vertical and impressive 7.51 three-cone time. Harrison’s talent is not in question, but his desire and work ethic are as Harrison was temporarily benched as a senior for poor conditioning. He looks like a boom-or-bust prospect.
