Dolphins signed OLB Jayrone Elliott, formerly of the AAF’s San Antonio Commanders.
Elliott was a sheer game-changer for the Commanders this past season, forcing four fumbles all the while leading the AAF with 7.5 sacks. Whether he plays on the outside or on the line as an end, Elliott provides a daunting pass rush to the defunct Fins’ D-line.

Packers re-signed OLB Jayrone Elliott to a one-year, $1.6-million contract.
Originally a restricted free agent, Elliott was non-tendered by the Packers, but $1.6 million is not much less than he would have made on the lowest tender. Elliott’s main contributions come on special teams, but he does have four sacks in the last two seasons.

Free agent OLB Jayrone Elliott is visiting the Steelers.
A 2014 UDFA, Elliott was a part-timer in Green Bay the past three years. He played 136 snaps last season, and has four sacks since 2015.

Cowboys acquired DE Jayrone Elliott from the Packers in exchange for a conditional 2018 seventh-round pick.
Elliott is mainly a special teams player, but he did produce four sacks across limited snaps last season. He may get more opportunities in Dallas.

The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel’s Bob McGinn reports Packers undrafted OLB Jayrone Elliott has been a standout at camp.
Elliott (6-foot-3, 255) recorded nine sacks and 14 tackles for loss at Toledo as a senior. He ran a 4.77 forty at his Pro Day but has an insane 82-inch wingspan, which is longer than any outside linebacker that participated at the Combine. Elliott has reportedly dominated Derek Sherrod and Don Barclay the past couple days. Backup jobs behind Clay Matthews and Julius Peppers are up for grabs.

    Cowboys waived DE Jayrone Elliott.
The Cowboys needed to clear a roster spot for Damontre Moore, who is coming off suspension. Elliott will hunt for special teams work on the open market.
