Raiders signed WR/KR Jeremy Ross from their practice squad.
Ross caught nine passes in five games with the Ravens earlier this year before being waived two weeks ago. He has also spent time with the Packers and Lions. Ross should help out on special teams.
  • FA Running Back #35
Packers signed RB DuJuan Harris and WR Jeremy Ross from the team’s practice squad.
Harris spent much of the preseason with the Jaguars before being claimed off waivers by the Steelers in late August. He’s a smaller back with some speed. Ross was signed as an undrafted free agent out of California by the Patriots in 2011. Both players will be special teams contributors if active on game days.
  • FA Wide Receiver #18
Randall Cobb (ankle, knee) insists there is a “100 percent” chance he will return to face the Vikings in the Wild-Card round of the playoffs Saturday night.
Coach Mike McCarthy said Cobb was “close” to playing in Week 17, but the Metrodome’s slippery surface played a part in the decision to hold him out. Although McCarthy has been steadfast about sticking with Cobb as his kick returner, Jeremy Ross’ impressive performance has him reconsidering. The Packers won’t make a decision on that role until later in the week. After Greg Jenning’s breakout game, it’s anyone’s guess who will be the odd receiver out in three-wide sets with Cobb returning this week.
  • FA Wide Receiver #15
    Packers waived WR Jeremy Ross.
The second-year undrafted free agent had appeared in all three games this season, making one catch in the process. He fumbled a kickoff in Sunday’s loss, however. Ross should be stashed on the practice squad provided he clears waivers.
  • FA Wide Receiver #15
Jeremy Ross caught a five-yard touchdown in Detroit’s Week 13 win over the Packers.
Ross stole some snaps from Nate Burleson in the slot, but his second-quarter touchdown was his only grab of the afternoon. Primarily a special teamer, Ross remains miles from fantasy relevance.
  • FA Wide Receiver #15
    Jets released KR/WR Jeremy Ross.
Ross, 28, was competing for the Jets’ kick returner job.
  • FA Wide Receiver #15
    Jets re-signed WR/KR Jeremy Ross.
With Jalin Marshall likely to miss some time with a shoulder injury, Ross will help out on kick returns. He also adds depth to a banged up receiver corps.
  • FA Wide Receiver #15
    Jets signed WR Jeremy Ross.
LB Taiwan Jones has been waived in a corresponding roster move. Ross should be limited to special teams.
  • FA Wide Receiver #15
    Cardinals signed WR Jeremy Ross.
He’ll fill the roster spot left by Michael Floyd, who was cut following a DUI arrest. Ross appeared in four games for the Jets earlier this year. He was used almost exclusively on special teams.
  • FA Wide Receiver #15
Cardinals re-signed WR Jeremy Ross to a one-year contract.
Ross joined the Cardinals late last season, logging 39 snaps and parlaying four targets into 37 yards and a touchdown. The 28-year-old gives Arizona some wide receiver depth and should be a core player on special teams.
