    Jose De Paula has re-signed a one-year contract with the CTBC Brothers of Taiwan’s Chinese Professional Baseball League.
    The 33-year-old southpaw hasn’t appeared in the big leagues since 2015. He was dominant in his second season with the Brothers in 2021, registering a minuscule 1.77 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 187/25 K/BB ratio over 178 innings. It’s unclear if there were calls from any interested MLB clubs -- or if there may have been without the lockout.
