Lions signed Tulsa WR Josh Johnson.

Johnson (5'10/179) emerged as a fifth-year player in 2021, amassing an 83-1,114-6 line in 13 games for the Golden Hurricanes including eight catches for 149 yards and a touchdown against Ohio State. An ankle injury prevented him from working out at the Combine, and he disappointed with a 4.62 40 at his Pro Day. Johnson is a quality route runner, but he only has one year of real production, was primarily a slot receiver at Tulsa, struggled with drops throughout his career, and does not appear to be a plus athlete. Those red flags make it difficult to get excited about his Dynasty prospects.
