Frias

Frias was acquired from the Marlins back in 2020 in the trade centered around Starling Marte and has yet to reach the majors. The 24-year-old lefty has been released after compiling a bloated 7.54 ERA, 2.12 WHIP and 30/36 K/BB ratio across 22 2/3 innings (23 appearances) this season for High-A Hillsboro.

He serves as the player-to-be-named to complete the trade that sent Starling Marte to the Marlins. The 22-year-old hurler spent the 2019 season at Low-A Batavia where he posted a 2.83 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 73/23 K/BB ratio across 70 innings of work.
