    49ers re-signed CB Ken Webster to a one-year, $765,000 contract.
Webster, a two-year veteran, was an exclusive rights free agent, so his only options were to sign with the Niners or retire. The 252nd pick of the Patriots in 2019, Webster, 24, played in nine games during the 2020 season, returning a punt and recording two tackles in Week 10 against the Saints.

Dolphins placed CB Ken Webster on injured reserve, ending his season.
The ‘Fins have also placed CB Ryan Lewis on I.R. The No. 252 overall pick of the draft by the Patriots, Webster ended up in Miami where he made eight appearances, including five starts. PFF charted him as a below-average player but not disastrously so. The 53-man roster experience will give Webster a leg up in 2020, but he will be far from assured of breaking camp with the team.

Dolphins CB Ken Webster (ankle) is inactive for Week 12 against the Browns.
Webster was an early rule out after he didn’t travel with the team. Miami’s already banged-up secondary is down several starters this week. Also inactive are CB Xavier Crawford, OL Chris Reed, OT Isaiah Prince, OL Keaton Sutherland, TE Clive Walford, and LB Trent Harris.

Dolphins CB Ken Webster (ankle) is out for Week 12.
The Dolphins already below-average secondary will be without multiple contributors this week and beyond. Miami placed two safeties on injured reserve, and Webster didn’t even travel with the team this week.

Dolphins declared WR Gary Jennings, S Reshad Jones, CB Xavier Crawford, CB Ken Webster, T Isaiah Prince, C/G Keaton Sutherland and DE Avery Moss inactive for Week 10 against the Colts.
The Dolphins are mostly healthy ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Colts. Mark Walton will serve the first game of his suspension, so Kalen Ballage is expected to get most of the backfield reps.

Patriots selected Mississippi CB Ken Webster with the No. 252 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Webster (5’11/203) spent five seasons as a Rebel, medical redshirting as a junior but playing consistent snaps throughout his career and graduating with two picks among ten pass breakups. Hardly a prolific cover man, Webster’s stock-soaring moment came in Indy when he tested as an otherworldly 99th-percentile SPARQ athlete with 4.43 speed and a 43-inch vertical. A talented non-producer, Webster has a basement-low floor but legit-starter upside as a developmental project.
