Jets signed RB Kenneth Dixon, formerly of the Ravens.
Dixon will be an end of the depth chart back and special teamer to close out the season, assuming he’s not a healthy scratch Week 16 against the Steelers. Dixon is coming back from a fractured knee, an injury that’s kept him off an active roster all year long. Dixon averaged 5.6 yards on his 60 carries in 2018.

Free agent Kenneth Dixon worked out for the Texans.
Dixon hasn’t had much interest since getting released with an injury settlement in September. He’s working his way back from a fractured knee, so it’s not clear if he’s fully healthy. The Texans have been getting by with a committee of Carlos Hyde and Duke Johnson. Dixon has the talent to help a team but may not resurface until the offseason.

Ravens released RB Kenneth Dixon with an injury settlement.
An elusive powerhouse when healthy, Dixon’s played in only 18 games since being drafted as the No. 134 overall pick in ’16 due to a variety of injuries and setbacks. He’s unlikely to land with a new suitor as he rehabs from a fractured knee during the season, but should be back on radars next year. The Ravens will move forward with Mark Ingram, Gus Edwards and Justice Hill at running back.

Ravens placed RB Kenneth Dixon (undisclosed) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Dixon’s season is over. He was a popular candidate to move to a less-loaded depth chart after final cuts before suffering an undisclosed injury. The Ravens will move forward with Mark Ingram, Gus Edwards and Justice Hill at running back.

Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic named Kenneth Dixon as a player whose stock is “trending down.”
Already on the roster bubble, the oft-injured Dixon was absent from the Ravens’ third preseason game due to knee soreness. The missed reps obviously don’t bode well for Dixon, who enters his contract year with just 148 NFL carries under his belt. Even if Dixon survives final cuts, he’ll just be an afterthought behind backfield staples Mark Ingram, Gus Edwards and talented rookie Justice Hill.

ESPN Ravens reporter Jamison Hensley left Kenneth Dixon off his initial 53-man roster projection to open training camp.
Dixon better learn how to contribute on special teams if he’s going to force the Ravens to keep him. Finally healthy in 2018, Dixon showed flashes down the stretch last season, but the Ravens still went out and signed Mark Ingram and drafted Justice Hill. Gus Edwards is expected to be safe as Ingram’s sidekick in this run-heavy offense. Dixon is 25 and entering the final year of his rookie deal.

    Kenneth Dixon returned to practice.
Dixon was sitting out with an undisclosed injury, but he “flashed his lateral movement” on a run play on Thursday. Ravens team reporter Ryan Mink warns to not forget about Dixon in this committee, but he’s projected to be the No. 4 option if Mark Ingram, Justice Hill, and Gus Edwards stay healthy.

Kenneth Dixon has been sitting out OTAs.
Dixon is dealing with an undisclosed injury. It’s a concern after the Ravens added Mark Ingram and rookie Justice Hill this offseason. Dixon needs to get healthy to have any chance of keeping his spot.
  • FA Running Back
The Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec speculated about Kenneth Dixon’s spot on the roster following the addition of fourth-round RB Justice Hill.
According to Zrebiec, Dixon was expected to stick around even following the Mark Ingram signing, but Hill’s addition makes his roster spot more tenuous. Dixon could do himself a favor by staying healthy and showing some ability on special teams during training camp. Even if he sticks on the roster, Dixon will struggle to return fantasy value behind Ingram and likely Hill.

Kenneth Dixon rushed six times for 13 yards and caught 3-of-3 targets for 53 yards in the Ravens’ Wild Card loss to the Chargers.
Dixon actually led the Ravens in receiving because of a 39-yard catch which helped set up a touchdown in the fourth quarter. On injured reserve most of the season, Dixon returned in Week 13 and was able to establish himself as the No. 2 option behind Gus Edwards down the stretch. Heading into the final year of his rookie deal, Dixon will have a chance to push for an even bigger role next season, especially if the Ravens decide to let Alex Collins, Ty Montgomery, and Javorius Allen walk. Dixon will be an interesting flier in best ball leagues this spring.
