Browns signed Princeton QB Kevin Davidson.
Davidson (6'4/224) was the backup to Chad Kanoff and John Lovett at Princeton for three years before garnering attention from league scouts as a senior. He delivers catchable passes and isn’t scared to hang in the pocket to allow routes to develop, but he ultimately lacks both the experience as a one-year starter and film against competition beyond the Ivy League. He also checked in with the smallest hand size (8 1/4") of any quarterback prospect since 1999, Brandon Allen included. Davidson is an interesting long-term project, but there shouldn’t be much expectation for him in during his rookie deal.
