Merritt

Merritt played one offensive snap this season and landed on the reserve/COVID-19 list in mid-December with the team in desperate need of wideouts. An undrafted free agent, Merritt -- a physical phenom -- had 83 catches for 1,005 yards and seven touchdowns in 2018 and 70 receptions for 806 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2019 at Arkansas State.

Merritt has played only eight snaps this season, but his reserve list placement comes at a moment where the ‘Fins are perilously thin at wideout. It also suggests the possibility of coronavirus spread in the Dolphins’ receiver corps. This will be a story to monitor this week.
