Bengals selected Arizona State DT Marcus Hardison with the No. 135 overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft.
Hardison (6'3/307) spent two seasons with the Sun Devils after transferring from JUCO, busting out as a senior for ten sacks and 15 TFLs. He played all over the line in college, but projects best to a three-technique position. Hardison showed plus athleticism at the ASU Pro Day, running 4.92/4.97 with an 8-foot-11 broad jump. Although Hardison is a work in progress in run defense, he has enough explosion off the snap and quickness to push for immediate snaps on passing downs. The Bengals confirmed after selecting Hardison that he will train at three technique in Paul Guenther’s defense.
