    Dolphins signed LB Martell Spaight.
Spaight started six games and made 41 tackles for the Redskins last year. Spaight is expected to be active on the 53-man roster for the Dolphins. The Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson expects the Dolphins to sign a defensive end to their 53-man as well.

Redskins placed LB Martrell Spaight on injured reserve with a concussion, ending his season.
The No. 141 overall pick of May’s draft, Spaight had yet to be active on defense. He should be back to compete for one of the Redskins’ final roster spots in 2016, but a season-ending concussion is not an issue to be trifled with.

Redskins selected Arkansas LB Martrell Spaight with the No. 141 overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft.
Spaight (6'0/236) spent two seasons with the Razorbacks after transferring from community college, exploding as a senior to lead Arkansas in tackles (128; 10.5 for a loss) and force a pair of fumbles. He was a first-team All-SEC pick. Spaight showed passable athleticism in Indy, running 4.88 with a 35-inch vertical and 10-foot broad jump. A physical, attacking weak-side linebacker in college, Spaight lacks sideline-to-sideline range and may be best suited to play inside in the pros. He’ll open his career on special teams.
