Longacre

Longacre lasted four days in Arizona and will try to resurface as a depth option elsewhere. The 27-year-old recorded 5.5 sacks for the Rams in 2017, but he was a constant healthy scratch last year.

Longacre, 27, had a mini breakout in 2017 with the Rams, recording 5.5 sacks but suffered a back injury at the end of the season. He opened 2018 as a starter but never looked quite right and was eventually a healthy scratch, notching just one sack.

He was an UDFA, so the Rams simply get the right of first refusal. Longacre had a breakout 2017 under DC Wade Phillips, recording 5.5 sacks across 377 snaps before needing season-ending back surgery in December. With Robert Quinn and Connor Barwin gone, Longacre could play a bigger role.

Longacre is a key rotational piece for DC Wade Phillips’ group, posting 5.5 sacks behind starters Robert Quinn and Connor Barwin. Samson Ebukam and Carlos Thompson will pick up more snaps moving forward.
