  • CLE Guard #77

Browns OG Wyatt Teller (calf) is inactive for Week 16 against the Bills.
Teller was questionable entering the weekend but has been ruled out. Backup Teven Jenkins will start in his place. In addition to Teller, the Browns have also ruled out CB Denzel Ward, RB Dylan Sampson, DT Mike Hall Jr., WR Jamari Thrash, TE David Njoku, and DT Sam Kamara.
  • CLE Tackle #78
Jack Conklin (concussion) is questionable for Week 7 against the Dolphins.
Conklin suffered a concussion in last week’s loss to the Steelers. Regardless of his game designation, whether or not Conklin has a chance to suit up depends primarily on whether or not he clears concussion protocol. Backup tackle KT Leveston would likely draw the start in place of Conklin if he is unable to go. In addition to Conklin, the Browns also listed DT Mason Graham (knee), DT Mike Hall (knee), WR Gage Larvadain (concussion), and LB Joe Tryon-Shoyinka (hip) as questionable for Week 7.
  • CLE Tackle #78
Browns RT Jack Conklin (eye) is questionable for Week 2 against the Ravens.
Defensive tackle Mike Hall remains out with a knee issue. Conklin suffered the eye injury in Week 1 and was also listed with an elbow issue on Week 2’s injury report. He was limited in practice throughout the week, suggesting he will suit up on Sunday. Cornelius Lucas will take Conklin’s spot in the lineup if the latter is unable to go.
  • CLE Defensive Tackle #51
Browns declared DT Mike Hall Jr., OG Zak Zinter, OT K.T. Leveston, QB Shedeur Sanders, and WR Gage Larvadain inactive for Week 1 against the Bengals.
Hall is still recovering from the season-ending knee injury he suffered in Week 18 last year. The fact that he didn’t start the season on the PUP list is a good sign, but he may still be a few weeks away from playing. Shedeur Sanders is the team’s emergency QB3.
  • CLE Cornerback #21
Browns CB Denzel Ward (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
The Browns have a lengthy injury report ahead of Week 1, though only one player actually missed Wednesday’s practice entirely. That was defensive tackle Mike Hall, who is still recovering from the season-ending knee injury he suffered in Week 18 of last year. Hall avoided the PUP list, meaning he shouldn’t be out for long, even if he misses Week 1. The remainder of the Browns, including Ward, don’t appear to be at risk of missing the team’s opener versus Cincinnati.
  • CLE Quarterback #4
Browns placed QB Deshaun Watson (Achilles) on the active/physically unable to perform list.
Watson tore his Achilles in Week 7 last season and ruptured it again in January. The Browns have four quarterbacks on the depth chart to replace his disappointing output from the past few seasons. He will now start the season on the PUP list and is expected to be out for most, if not all, of the 2025 season. DT Mike Hall Jr. will also be placed on the active/PUP list while WR David Bell will hit the active/non-football injury list.
  • CLE Running Back
Cleveland’s Mary Kay Cabot reports that “the Browns are in no rush to sign Quinshon Judkins to his rookie contract or get him to camp on time.”
Per Cabot, the team has “stressed to Judkins and his agent, Todd France, that Judkins must make his domestic incident the high priority over football.” The Browns’ intent is open to interpretation. One read, however, is that the team is clearly distancing itself from the second-round rookie. Yesterday, ProFootballTalk’s Mike Florio wrote that Judkins could be placed on paid leave after signing his contract. Just one year ago, the Browns’ fellow second-round pick and former Ohio State player, DT Mike Hall Jr., was placed on paid leave after being charged with domestic violence. It appears as though even the paid leave option may be unpalatable for the organization this time.
  • CLE Defensive Tackle #51
ESPN’s Daniel Oyefusi reports that Browns DT Mike Hall Jr. underwent offseason surgery after suffering a Week 18 knee injury.
Per Oyefusi, “the injury likely will keep Hall out of the offseason workout program.” He will likely be sidelined until the Browns begin training camp in July. The 21-year-old Hall appeared in eight games last season after the Browns selected him in the 2024 NFL Draft’s second round. Despite the abbreviated season, Hall’s on-field performance compares favorably to his classmates. Among 2024 rookie DTs with at least 15 tackles, he ties for fifth with four tackles for loss or no gain. Both his 10.8 percent pass-rush win rate and 10.2 percent quarterback pressure rate likewise rank top three among 2024 rookie DTs with at least 100 pass-rushing snaps.
  • CLE Defensive Tackle #51
Browns GM Andrew Berry said Mike Hall Jr. (knee) has a “months-long” injury and expects him to be ready for the 2025 season.
It’s possible that Hall Jr. starts training camp on the PUP list depending on how many months are involved. Hall Jr missed five games due to a personal conduct policy suspension this season after a domestic violence arrest. He wound up playing eight games and finishing with one sack, 14 combined tackles, and six quarterback hits as a rotational lineman.
  • CLE Defensive Tackle #51
Browns DT Mike Hall Jr. (leg) was carted off the field in the third quarter of Week 18 against the Ravens.
Training staff used an air cast to stabilize the rookie defensive lineman’s right leg after it appeared to get trapped and rolled up on. He rose his arm to fans as he departed the playing field on the cart. The injury ends a disappointing season for the No. 54 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
