Steelers waived TE/DE Miguel Chavis.
The Steelers converted Chavis from defensive end to tight end in 2011 training camp and stashed him on I.R. as a rookie, but are now moving on. An undrafted free agent last April, Chavis was never a full-time player at Clemson.
