Giants signed NC State DE Mike Rose.
Rose (6'3/261) was a 2 1/2-year starter for the Wolfpack, earning second-team All-ACC as a senior on the strength of 15 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks and two forced fumbles. Rose turned in a solid Pro Day, running 4.67 with a 33 1/2-inch vertical and 17 reps on the bench. Rose’s game is short on quickness and burst, but he compensated with natural power and all-out hustle in college. He profiles as an early-career special teamer who could eventually make a run at sub-package snaps.
