The Magic have waived D.J. Wilson and signed Miye Oni to an Exhibit 10 contract.
It’s that time when teams begin shoring up the talent base for their G League affiliate. Wilson, a first-round pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, was signed to an Exhibit 10 contract just before the start of training camp. While Oni technically has an opportunity to impress Orlando decision-makers (and the rest of the league), it’s more likely that he will wind up with the Osceola Magic.
  • NBA Shooting Guard #26
The Lakers reportedly hosted a workout for free agents Jeremy Lamb, Shabazz Muhammad, Dwayne Bacon and Miye Oni.
The Lakers could use some more depth and shooting on the wings, but they have very little cap space, so this is the tier of players they can work with. Lamb could make some sense in LA, and he could possibly even compete for a starting spot, but he’ll need to earn a contract first.

  • FA Shooting Guard #2
The New Orleans Pelicans are signing guard Miye Oni to a 10-day deal via the COVID hardship exemption.
Oni and Zylan Cheatham will both get a brief stint with the Pelicans, but you can safely ignore them both as there’s no telling if they’ll even get minutes.

  • FA Shooting Guard #2
The Oklahoma City Thunder are planning to waive Miye Oni.
He barely played so this won’t affect anything fantasy-related.

  • FA Shooting Guard #2
Miye Oni (right ankle sprain) will be available for Thursday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Oni isn’t in the Jazz rotation on most nights, so his availability will not have an impact as far as fantasy basketball is concerned.

  • FA Shooting Guard #2
Miye Oni won’t play on Monday due to a sprained right ankle.
This shouldn’t impact fantasy lineups even with all the guys missing currently.

  • FA Shooting Guard #2
Mike Oni (right ankle sprain) has been listed as questionable for Monday’s game against Charlotte.
Oni’s status will have zero effect on your fantasy lineup.

  • FA Shooting Guard #2
Miye Oni (illness) will not suit up for Thursday’s game against the Warriors.
Whether he played or not would have no impact in fantasy hoops.

  • FA Shooting Guard #2
Miye Oni (illness) is being listed as questionable for Thursday’s game vs. Houston.
He’s a negligible part of the rotation and not worth your attention in fantasy hoops.

  • FA Shooting Guard #2
Miye Oni (lower back pain) is available for Game 3 vs. Memphis on Saturday evening.
The Jazz are now officially at full strength, but Oni likely won’t see significant minutes in this game or in this series in general.
