D.J. Wilson provided a boost off the bench with 10 points (4-of-6 FGs), two rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two triples against Sacramento on Monday.
Wilson recently signed a 10-day contract with Philadelphia, and after playing two minutes in his first appearance with the team on Sunday, he saw 14 minutes in this game. He was able to post a solid line in the extra minutes, which is great to see from a player that last appeared in a regular season game during the 2021-22 season. Wilson may continue to see minutes off the bench, but he isn’t a player to target in fantasy basketball.
  • FA Power Forward #9
The Magic have waived D.J. Wilson and signed Miye Oni to an Exhibit 10 contract.
It’s that time when teams begin shoring up the talent base for their G League affiliate. Wilson, a first-round pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, was signed to an Exhibit 10 contract just before the start of training camp. While Oni technically has an opportunity to impress Orlando decision-makers (and the rest of the league), it’s more likely that he will wind up with the Osceola Magic.
  • ORL Power Forward #9
According to Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel, the Magic have signed D.J. Wilson to an Exhibit 10 contract.
Wilson, who has played for three different NBA teams since being selected by the Bucks in the first round of the 2017 draft, finished last season with Orlando’s G League affiliate. After playing well for the Magic in Summer League action, he’s earned himself a training camp invitation. Given the number of frontcourt players on the Magic roster heading into camp, this transaction was likely completed with the Osceola Magic roster in mind.
  • PHI Power Forward #20
D.J. Wilson had a strong showing in Wednesday’s summer league action with 22 points, nine rebounds, one dime, one steal, one block and three triples.
Wilson had three 10-day contracts with the Raptors last season and came to an agreement on a fresh two-year deal on July 8th. He has some work to do to get into the rotation, but the tools and intrigue are certainly there.

  • PHI Power Forward #20
The Raptors signed D.J. Wilson to a two-year contract for the veteran minimum on Friday.
Wilson played on a handful of 10-day contracts for the Raptors last season, and even had a few solid performances while Toronto was decimated by injuries. Wilson will only be a fantasy asset if that happens again, but he will be a nice depth piece for the Raptors.

  • NBA Shooting Guard #11
Langston Galloway was among the players who worked out for the Lakers during a free-agent workout on Tuesday, according to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin.
The Lakers could have as many as seven roster spots to fill this summer, and due to the team’s cap situation, there isn’t a lot of money available to do so. Hence the need to leave no stone unturned with regard to possibly signing veterans on team-friendly deals. In addition to Galloway, Kyle Guy, Alize Johnson, Louis King, and D.J. Wilson were among the players who were reported to be present at the workout.

  • PHI Power Forward #20
With the Raptors signing of Armoni Brooks to a 10-day contract, D.J. Wilson has been let go from the team on Sunday.
Wilson had been dealing with a knee injury while on his 10-day contract. He wasn’t relevant in fantasy hoops, so this won’t affect any fantasy leagues.

  • FA Point Guard #13
The Toronto Raptors are signing Armoni Brooks to a 10-day contract.
Brooks has been very solid in two appearances in the G-League this year, averaging a line of 17/7/3/3/2 with four triples per game. Still, he likely won’t see enough minutes to make him a worthy addition to your fantasy lineup. His 10-day contract likely means that D.J. Wilson won’t return on another deal.

  • PHI Power Forward #20
D.J. Wilson (left knee soreness) has been ruled out for Friday’s game against the Magic.
Wilson didn’t have any minutes for someone to get. This won’t affect fantasy hoops.

  • PHI Power Forward #20
D.J. Wilson (left knee soreness) will not play in Thursday’s game against the Raptors.
Wilson’s absence will not affect any Raptors as far as fantasy basketball goes.
