Red Sox re-signed RHP Andrew Schwaab to a minor league contract.
Schwaab, 26, spent the 2019 season in the Red Sox organization where he compiled a 3.09 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 66/29 K/BB ratio over 58 1/3 innings between High-A Salem and Double-A Portland. He’s likely to begin the 2020 campaign back in the bullpen at Double-A.
