Guardians selected the contract of SS Angel Genao, OF Kahlil Watson, RHP Austin Peterson and RHP Yorman Gómez from Triple-A Columbus.
The 43rd-ranked prospect in baseball, per Baseball America, Genao enters next season in the upper minors with a chance to reach Cleveland before the end of the year. The 21-year-old prodigy is protected from next month’s Rule 5 Draft.
