Royals sent RHP Arodys Vizcaino outright to Triple-A Omaha.
The 31-year-old hurler registered an uninspiring 6.35 ERA, 1.94 WHIP and 3/7 K/BB ratio over 5 2/3 innings with the big league club. He’ll look to sort out his issues at the Triple-A level.

Royals purchased the contract of RHP Arodys Vizcaíno from Triple-A Omaha.
Vizcaíno inked a minor league contract with the Royals back in January and returns to the big leagues for the first time since 2019. The 31-year-old righty has endured persistent injuries throughout his career, but he’s been healthy this season, recording a sparkling 1.76 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 19/6 K/BB ratio across 15 1/3 innings (16 appearances) at Triple-A Omaha.

Royals reassigned RHPS Brad Peacock, Arodys Vizcaino, Colten Brewer, Jose Cuas; INFs Gabriel Cancel, Iván Castillo, Clay Dungan and Vinnie Pasquantino; and OFs Dairon Blanco, Brewer Hicken and Jacoby Jones to minor league camp.
The latest batch of cuts from Royals’ camp includes several prominent relievers including Peacock, Vizcaino and Brewer. They’ll open the regular season as extra relief depth at Triple-A Omaha and could be up at some point later this year.

Royals signed RHP Arodys Vizcaino to a minor league contract.
Vizcaino earned 40 saves for the Braves between 2016-2018, but he hasn’t pitched in a major league game since 2019 and he was limited to seven appearances at Triple-A last year due to elbow troubles. The 31-year-old right-hander will act as organizational relief depth for Kansas City in 2022.

    Mets released RHP Arodys Vizcaíno.
Vizcaíno was limited to just seven relief appearances at Triple-A Syracuse this past season due to elbow issues. The 31-year-old right-hander was one of the most promising pitching prospects in the game last decade, but had a once-promising career derailed by an avalanche of persistent elbow and shoulder injuries.

Arodys Vizcaino has been sidelined due to lateral right elbow soreness according to Mets manager Luis Rojas.
Vizcaino is expected to return next weekend and is a dark horse to make the Mets bullpen after flashing high-90’s velocity this spring and impressing during bullpen work. The oft-injured 30-year-old has a 2.53 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, and a 110-to-39 strikeout to walk ratio in 99 2/3 innings since 2017 and could make for an interesting depth piece in Queens if he can stay healthy.

Mets signed RHP Arodys Vizcaino to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
Vizcaino, 29, pitched in only four games in 2019 before having surgery to repair a torn labrum and remove scar tissue in his right shoulder. He’s been plenty effective in his career when healthy, but there’s no telling how he’ll bounce back from major shoulder surgery. Still, it’s a worthy gamble by the Mets.

Mariners acquired RHP Arodys Vizcaino and LHP Jesse Biddle from the Braves for RHP Anthony Swarzak and cash considerations.
Vizcaino is done for the season after undergoing surgery on April 17 to repair a torn labrum and remove scar tissue in his right shoulder. And he’ll be a free agent this winter, so it’s possible the 28-year-old never actually throws a pitch in a Mariners uniform.

Braves moved RHP Arodys Vizcaino to the 60-day injured list.
Vizcaino is expected to miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery on his right shoulder to repair a torn labrum and remove scar tissue. The move opens up a 40-man roster spot for Jerry Blevins, who was acquired from the Athletics on Sunday for cash considerations.

Arodys Vizcaino underwent surgery on his right shoulder to repair labrum and remove scar tissue on Wednesday, and is expected to miss the rest of the 2019 season.
Vizcaino was placed on the 10-day injured list earlier this week with right shoulder inflammation, but clearly there was more to it than that. The right-hander will now have a long road back to recover from the shoulder procedure, and keep in mind that the success rate with pitchers coming back from this type of operation isn’t the same as Tommy John or similar procedures. A.J. Minter will likely serve as the closer for the remainder of the season for Atlanta, assuming the Braves don’t bring in outside help.
