B.J. Rosenberg recorded the first save of his career on Sunday by tossing a perfect ninth against the Braves.
Jonathan Papelbon, who blew his seventh save on Saturday, watched as Rosenberg pumped mid-90s heat past Freddie Freeman to end the game. The Phillies could be paying a guy like Rosenberg the MLB minimum to close out games during this lost season, but Papelbon and his MLB-reliever-high $13 million salary will be back out there whenever Philadelphia next has a save opportunity.
