Tigers acquired LHP Blake Dickerson from the Padres in exchange for $500,000 in international bonus pool money.
The Padres are sacrificing their 2023 12th-round pick in order to spend an extra half-million dollars on international players. Dickerson is a 6-foot-6 lefty taken out of a high school in Virginia Beach. He’s yet to make his pro debut.
