Athletics RHP prospect Brady Feigl struck out nine hitters over eight scoreless innings for High-A Stockton on Wednesday.
Feigl scattered seven hits and didn’t walk anyone. Feigl drops his ERA with the Ports to 3.20 over 70 1/3 innings, and he now has a 59/20 K/BB ratio over his 12 appearances in the California League. Drafted in the fifth round out of Ole Miss last June, the 23-year-old has three average pitches, and he shows the makings of above-average control. This isn’t a future ace or anything close, but it’s not hard to imagine Feigl pitching in the back of a rotation someday.
