Pirates acquired OF Brian Sanchez and Cs Edgleen Perez and Rafael Flores from the Yankees for RHP David Bednar.
Sanchez, 21, was an international signing out of Venezuela prior to the 2023 season. He’s having a solid season at Single-A Tampa, slashing .281/.373/.438 with four homers, 36 RBI and 24 stolen bases across his 286 plate appearances.
