Reds signed INF Bryson Brigman to a minor league contract.
With Matt McLain sidelined and Noelvi Marte moved up to the big league club, the Reds were light on infield depth in the upper minors, so this move makes plenty of sense. The 29-year-old spent the 2024 campaign in the Diamondbacks’ organization where he slashed .335/.385/.474 with nine homers, 61 RBI and 10 stolen bases at Triple-A Reno.

Dodgers signed INF Bryson Brigman to a minor league contract.
It’s unclear if this move was already in the works, or was brought about as a depth move after Gavin Lux suffered a knee injury during Monday’s game. The 27-year-old spent the 2022 season in the Marlins organization where he slashed .251/.299/.369 with eight homers, 38 RBI and nine stolen bases over 413 plate appearances at Triple-A Jacksonville.

Marlins acquired INF Bryson Brigman and international slot money from the Mariners for OF Cameron Maybin.
Brigman was a third-round pick of the Mariners in 2016 and has registered a decent .304/.373/.391 batting line with 15 stolen bases over 98 games this season at High-A Modesto, but he may never hit for enough power to become a regular at the major league level. Briman is already 23 years old.
