Christopher Hobdy of the Rookie GCL Dodgers was arrested Wednesday night after being accused of breaking into several suites at Dodgertown and stealing credit cards and cash from his teammates.
Hobdy, who reportedy admitted to the crimes after being presented with hidden camera footage, was charged with seven counts of burglary and six counts of petit theft. He’s being held on $146,000 bond. The 2005 seventh-round pick had not pitched in the minors this season. He gave up 12 runs in 5 1/3 innings for the GCL Dodgers last year.
