Blue Jays prospect right-hander Clinton Hollon was suspended 50 games for a second positive test for a drug of abuse.
After missing nearly two years with elbow issues and Tommy John surgery, the 21-year-old Hollon earned his way back on the prospect radar last season by posting a 3.38 ERA and 45/22 K/BB ratio in 58 2/3 innings over 11 starts between Low-A Vancouver and Class A Lansing. His season ended due to a 50-game amphetamine suspension in August and now he’s slated to miss more time after that.
