Darren Bragg drove in the winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning to earn the Reds a 5-4 win over the Cardinals.
Yes, that Darren Bragg. Nice to see he’s still making his yearly contribution.

Indians signed outfielder Darren Bragg to a minor league contract.
There’s no invitation to spring training attached. Bragg will report with the rest of Cleveland’s minor leaguers next month.
  • CLE Outfield
Indians released OF Darren Bragg and LHP Graeme Lloyd.
Both veterans had been in minor league camp. If Bragg wants to keep playing, he’ll get another Triple-A contract. Lloyd’s comeback bids the last two seasons have ended badly because it’s now more difficult to get visas for minor leaguers than it used to be.

Yankees reassigned OF Darren Bragg, 2B Homer Bush, INF Felix Escalona and C Joe Girardi to minor league camp.
Bragg was beated out by Bubba Crosby for a job as the Yankees’ fifth outfielder. Girardi’s career appears to be at an end. He’s expected to go to work for the YES Network.

Yankees signed outfielder Darren Bragg to a minor league contract and invited him to spring training.
Bragg, who spent part of 2001 with the Yankees, hit .241 with no homers and nine RBI in 162 at-bats with Atlanta last season. He probably won’t make the Yankees as a reserve outfielder.

Reds purchased the contract of outfielder Darren Bragg from Triple-A Louisville.
Bragg had hit just .239/.314/.391 since joining Louisville at the end of last month. He shouldn’t have any fantasy value as a reserve.

Padres purchased the contract of outfielder Darren Bragg from the Yankees.
Bragg apparently will take over as the Padres’ fifth outfielder for now, but the team should continue to look for an upgrade. The veteran was batting .282/.367/.469 in Triple-A.
  • CLE Outfield
Padres sent outfielder Darren Bragg outright to Triple-A Portland.
The move makes room for Rich Aurilia. Bragg, who went 1-for-7 in nine games with the Padres, has already said he’s rejecting the assignment and becoming a free agent.
