Dodgers acquired INF Devin Mann and INF Derlin Figueroa from the Royals for LHP Ryan Yarbrough.
Mann, 26, could join the Royals in the near future. He’s hit .307/.402/.541 while playing five positions in Triple-A this year. It’s unlikely that he’ll emerge as a future regular, but he could be a nice bench option with his ability to hit lefties and fill in at several spots. Figueroa is more of a lottery ticket; the 19-year-old has hit .237/.372/.376 in his first year in the U.S. for the ACL Dodgers.

Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports that the Dodgers are adding prospect infielder Devin Mann to their 60-man player pool.
It was reported last week that Mann was being added, but now it’s apparently official. The 23-year-old batted .278/.358/.496 with 19 homers and five steals over 98 games in High-A last season. He took a step forward on the power front after making a swing change. He likely would have played in Double-A this year if there was a season, but the Dodgers want to make sure he at least gets some time in a competitive environment.
