Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports that the Dodgers are adding prospect infielder Devin Mann to their 60-man player pool.
It was reported last week that Mann was being added, but now it’s apparently official. The 23-year-old batted .278/.358/.496 with 19 homers and five steals over 98 games in High-A last season. He took a step forward on the power front after making a swing change. He likely would have played in Double-A this year if there was a season, but the Dodgers want to make sure he at least gets some time in a competitive environment.
