White Sox prospect Evan Skoug homered twice on Sunday for Low-A Kannapolis.
They’re the first two homers for Skoug since he was promoted from the AZL three weeks ago. A seventh-round pick this June, Skoug has above-average power from the left-side, and he’s a patient hitter who draws his share of walks. He also draws his share of strikeouts because of said patience and a long swing. He’ll have to stick at catcher to be a legit prospect, but if he can, he could be a 20-homer backstop.
