Greg Reynolds picked up his first professional win after throwing five scoreless innings for Single-A Modesto on Thursday.
Reynolds, the second overall pick in the 2006 draft, has a 2.61 ERA and a 20/8 K/BB ratio in 31 innings since joining Modesto last month.

The Rockies selected RHP Greg Reynolds with the second overall pick in the 2006 draft.
Reynolds wasn’t initially thought of as a top-five pick, but he improved his stock late in the season and made the Rockies fall in love. A big right-hander, Reynolds continues to pitch for Stanford in the College World Series. Unfortunately, he has little long-term fantasy value pitching at Coors Field.

Rangers acquired RHP Greg Reynolds from the Rockies for 1B Chad Tracy; assigned him to Triple-A Round Rock.
Reynolds has registered an ugly 7.47 career ERA and 1.69 career WHIP in 94 major league innings. Texas will hope for better from the former No. 2 overall pick.

Greg Reynolds can opt out of his minor league contract with the Reds on Saturday and may do just that.
Reynolds has posted a promising 2.51 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 51/15 K/BB ratio in 86 innings (12 starts, one relief appearance) this season at Triple-A Louisville. But the Reds have given no indication that he’s in line for a promotion. The 27-year-old former top prospect would likely draw a good amount of interest as a free agent.

Rockies sent RHP Greg Reynolds outright to Triple-A Colorado Springs.
Reynolds, 25, has an ugly 7.47 ERA and 40/36 K/BB ratio over 94 innings in the big leagues. Rockies fans probably don’t need to be reminded that Evan Longoria, Clayton Kershaw and Tim Lincecum were selected after Reynolds (No. 2 overall) in the 2006 First-Year Player Draft.

Reds signed RHP Greg Reynolds to a minor league contract.
The No. 2 overall pick in the 2006 draft, Reynolds has put up a 7.47 ERA over 94 career major league innings and held a 5.30 ERA and ugly 69/46 K/BB ratio over 163 frames at Triple-A for the Rangers in 2012. He’s merely organizational depth.

Greg Reynolds (elbow) threw five scoreless innings over the weekend in a rehab start at Single-A Modesto.
Reynolds is making a slow recovery from an elbow contusion, suffered when he was hit by a comebacker during spring training. Once fully healthy, he’s likely to report to Triple-A Colorado Springs and not the big leagues.

Greg Reynolds’ minor league rehab assignment was shut down because of irritation he was experiencing in the back of his elbow.
The rotten luck continues for this once-promising hurler. Reynolds was previously on the disabled list with a bone chip in his right elbow suffered when he was hit by a comebacker during spring training and the nerve irritation will push his timetable back again. He’d made three starts in this last incarnation of his rehabilitation attempt prior to the setback.

Greg Reynolds allowed two runs over 3 2/3 innings against the Astros on Wednesday.
With the team fighting for a playoff spot, Reds manager Dusty Baker exercised a short leash with the 28-year-old. Reynolds was making his first start since August 31, when he went eight innings in a win over the Rockies. It’s hard to imagine the Reds turning to the right-hander for another start this season.

Reds purchased the contract of RHP Greg Reynolds from Triple-A Louisville.
Reynolds will start on Sunday in place of the injured Tony Cingrani (back). The righty allowed five runs over five innings in a spot start last month for the Reds and should be avoided for fantasy purposes against the Brewers.
