Astros acquired RHP Guadalupe Chavez from the Blue Jays for RHP Scott Feldman.
Chavez, 18, was sporting a 1.69 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, and 26/4 K/BB ratio through 32 innings (six starts) this season in the rookie-level Gulf Coast League. He’s obviously very far away from the majors, but it’s a nice pickup for a swingman like Feldman who can become a free agent five days after the 2016 World Series.
