    Bosiokovic passed through waivers unclaimed and will head back to the minors as extra organizational relief depth. The 30-year-old rookie southpaw was up briefly with the Cardinals last month, but didn’t end up getting into a game.

    Bosiokovic, 30, spent five days with the Cards earlier this month, but he never did get to make his major league debut. The converted infielder has a 3.95 ERA and a 52/25 K/BB in 41 innings for Triple-A Memphis.

    Bosiokovic was added to the major league roster last Sunday, but didn’t appear in a game for the Cardinals. He has a 3.00 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 30 innings at Triple-A this year. Now that he’s on the 40-man roster, he could come back and make his major league debut later this season.

    Cardinals selected the contract of RHP Jacob Bosiokovic from Triple-A Memphis.
    Bosiokovic was a minor-league signing out of the Atlantic League by the Cardinals in February, and he registered a 3.00 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 38/22 K/BB over his 30 innings in Triple-A this season. He’ll provide some bullpen depth while he’s with the club.

    Cardinals signed RHP Jacob Bosiokovic to a minor league contract.
    The 30-year-old hurler previously pitched in the Cardinals’ organization during the 2021 and 2022 seasons. In 2023 he toed the slab for the Charleston Dirty Birds of the independent Atlantic League, where he registered a 3.35 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and a 58/25 K/BB ratio across 43 innings of work. He’ll add minor league bullpen depth for the Cardinals.
