Phillies signed INF Jim Haley to a minor league contract.
Haley, 27, was originally a 19th round selection by the Rays from the 2016 draft class. He spent the entire 2022 season at Triple-A Durham where he hit .231/.306/.440 with 18 round-trippers, 47 RBI and 16 stolen bases in 420 plate appearances. He played all four infield positions and left field for the Bulls in 2022 and could wind up being a super-utility option for the Phillies at some point.
