Red Sox signed INF Juremi Profar to a minor league contract.
The younger brother of Padres’ infielder Jurickson Profar, Juremi spent the first seven seasons of his minor league career in the Rangers’ organization. The 23-year-old hit .265/.324/.394 with 10 homers, 60 RBI and no stolen bases in 113 games between Double-A Frisco and Triple-A Nashville in 2019.
