Justin Miller, who had been scheduled to be recalled to start Saturday’s game, experienced shoulder pain in his most recent rehab outing and will remain at Single-A Dunedin.
Miller will rest for a couple days before being re-evaluated. Pete Walker will come out of the bullpen to start Saturday.

Justin Miller allowed three runs on three hits over six innings in a rehab start with Single-A Dunedin on Monday.
Miller is expected to pitch for the Blue Jays on Saturday against Minnesota. Miller could have some value in deep AL-only leagues once he’s 100 percent.

Justin Miller (strained right hamstring muscle) still can’t run well enough to cover first base during fielding drills.
He is ready to pitch in all other respects. Miller may need another week or so off to let his tender leg muscle heal more fully.

Justin Miller (strained right hamstring muscle) will throw 40 pitches in a simulated game today, and if all goes well, he will start a rehab assignment at Triple-A Syracuse later in the week.
Miller could return to the Jays’ rotation in early August.

Justin Miller has been removed from the Blue Jay starting rotation.
He has struggled with his control as of late and will pitch in long relief for the balance of the season. Roy Halladay, Ted Lilly, Gustavo Chacin, David Bush and Josh Towers will be the Toronto starters for the last two weeks of the 2004 campaign.

Justin Miller, pitching a day after his grandfather died, allowed five runs in one inning tonight against the Orioles.
Miller, who was coming off a terrific start against the Angels, is going to get a free pass for this one.

Justin Miller pitched two-hit ball for eight innings tonight in the Jays’ 1-0 win in Anaheim.
Where did this come from? Miller hadn’t lasted more than five innings in any of his five previous starts since coming off the DL. He’s too risky to consider as an addition in AL-only leagues.

Justin Miller allowed one run and struck out nine in five innings today in an extended-spring training game.
Miller will pitch in a minor league game on Monday and is expected to join Toronto’s rotation on April 12.

Justin Miller allowed three runs in six innings tonight in a no-decision against Boston.
Miller’s next start will come against Minnesota, and he’d be OK to use then in AL-only leagues. However, since the Blue Jays will begin a run of 13 straight games against AL West teams next weekend, he doesn’t have to be picked up right now.
